RMB at the Shifters Table

You are ready to take part in the ecological transition, but you wonder if and how you should talk about it?

advertising responsibility and climate challenge

A key role for communicators starting the “green” transition

On June 11, 2024, The Shifters Belgium brought experts together at ULB to address the question: “What role and responsibility does the communication sector have in this transition?”

Valérie Janssens, our Media, Data & Tech Director, participated in this roundtable to share RMB’s vision for more responsible advertising. Alongside Maxime Van der Meerschen (GiveActions), Alexandre Frederick (IHECS Academy), and Alice Patault (HOME by Climattitude), Valérie discussed the many ways communication can contribute to the climate challenge.

The event explored major questions: How can we communicate in a decarbonizing world? Is enough space given to sustainability in communication? How can communicators and advertisers be trained to tackle these new challenges?
