Napoleon Sports & Casino aims to strengthen its reputation among sports fans in general, and football fans in particular, by offering engaging content that aligns with the aspirations of its target audience. 

The challenge? To create content that is all together entertaining, informative, and engaging, to reach a specific public.

Strategy

To support Napoleon Sports & Casino, RMB and its creative unit designed and produced a series of 90-minute podcasts called "Nonante Minutes." Dedicated to the latest news in Belgian football, these podcasts stand out for their direct tone and personalised approach. 

The concept’s key points: 

  • A native format tailored to the consumption habits of sports enthusiasts. 
  • Strong, original content, well-packaged, and different from classic TV magazines. 
  • High-quality hosts, well-known speakers from social media and streaming. Nesrine Jebali, a sports journalist and social media creator, moderates the podcasts. Lemed (Meidhi), a streamer, YouTuber, and gamer on Twitch, adds a good dose of humor. 
  • Renowned guests: Division 1 football players and other high-level Belgian athletes share their insights and experiences. 
  • A close and authentic tone to strengthen the connection with younger generations.

Media plan

The RMB team developed a customised broadcasting strategy, leveraging the audience of streaming platforms and social media to maximise the project's reach. ‘Nonante Minutes’ is more than just a podcast; it’s a weekly event that brings the fans together.

A cross-platform distribution: 

  • 7 podcasts produced in both video and audio versions. 
  • Weekly broadcasts on a dedicated website, on YouTube, Spotify, and Deezer. 
  • Creation of a 'Nonante Minutes' page on Facebook and a specific Instagram account to promote and share the podcasts on social media. 
  • Digital promotion through the social media channels of the hosts and partners.

Results

The ‘Nonante Minutes’ project shows that it is possible to explore new media opportunities beyond traditional channels. This dynamic podcast combines originality and relevance by connecting high-profile athletes with expert hosts. It successfully captures the advertiser's target audience's attention.
