Sustainability in action: reports, impacts, and perspectives

Since 2022, RMB has integrated sustainability into the core of its development strategy. More than just a commitment, it is a compass guiding our choices, solutions, and collaborations, both internally and externally.

To discover more about our responsible approach, visit the page “BLUE by RMB: reinventing advertising in the sustainable era”. BLUE is our umbrella brand, embodying our desire for a more sustainable transition.

In order to act credibly and consistently, we have implemented concrete tools to measure our initiatives with a sustainable reach: impact reports, OEF calculation of our environmental footprint, tracking actions linked to the 17 SDGs, etc. These are key levers to provide an honest assessment and also to build an ambitious sustainability plan for the coming years.

On this page, discover how RMB structures and shares its strategy built for a better future, transparently with both its employees and other stakeholders in the advertising ecosystem.

How our impact report reflects our commitment to sustainability

An impact report documents the concrete actions taken by an organization to promote actions going toward positive social and environmental practices. It reflects sustainability commitments by assessing their scope using clear indicators, aligned with frameworks such as the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Since 2023, RMB has published an annual impact report, a tool for transparency and management. This report allows us to evaluate our progress, set new goals, and work with our teams, partners, and clients to continue our sustainability plan. From an external perspective, this plan aims to:

• strengthen the presence of products linked to sustainability in our advertising offerings
 • multiply structural collaborations with committed partners
 • create innovative formats to encourage behavior change
 • share our tools and best practices with the rest of the market

We’re committed to an open, collaborative agency that leads the way in creating a more sustainable marketing, fair and inclusive. Do you share our vision to reshape advertising with purpose and impact? Are you ready to make a difference with us?

Measuring our environmental impact: insights from our OEF Report

The OEF (Organisation Environmental Footprint) report is a methodological framework developed by the European Commission to standardize the measurement of an organization's environmental footprint. It is based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach and includes 16 environmental indicators (carbon, water, resources, toxicity, etc.).

The OEF report evaluates the overall impact of a company by covering three main scopes: internal activities (energy consumption, emissions, resource use, and waste production), upstream activities related to suppliers (production of raw materials or purchased products, transportation, energy consumption, and emissions from suppliers), and downstream activities related to sales (distribution of finished products, product or service use by customers, and end-of-life treatment of products).

RMB conducted its first OEF report in 2022 and continues to repeat the process regularly. This report helps us better understand and reduce our environmental footprint at all stages of our value chain. It also allows us to prioritize our actions for continuous improvement.

At RMB, we turn data into decisions and convictions into actions. Want to join this meaningful dynamic?
